Chef Yoram Ravid, born raised and trained as a chef in Israel grew up in a mixture of culinary environment that include Mediterranean, Eastern European, Middle Eastern, and Jewish cuisines.
Specializing in those cultures and their culinary specialties, chef Ravid cooks a variety of recipes from these countries and a fusion of the same.
He worked under top chefs around the world, came to U.S. 18 years ago and started working for some of the top catering companies in the country as chef and executive chef. Also worked for the movie studios, on movie sets, and premiers as well as for celebrities as a private chef.
Chef Ravid worked on some special events such as The Grammy Awards, MTV Awards, The Spirit Awards, the 24th People Choice Award and The Emmy Awards in 1998, 1999, and 2004. He also worked for the Latin Grammy Award in 2000 and worked for the Democratic convention in 2000 and was the Executive Chef for a special dinner for Governor Grey Davis in 2001.
Among his celebrity clients were the Royal Saudi-Arabian Family, Dennis Tito (the businessman who became the first tourist in space), and President Bill Clinton for whom he worked as an executive chef on a special event honoring President Bill Clinton and hosted by Eddi and Lu Wasserman. And also worked on the set for the premier of the movie “Terminator 2,” 3D in Universal Studios.
Celebrity Chef Yoram Ravid did a reality show, Extreme Green Challenge.
For the last few years Chef Yoram Ravid has been the private chef for some movie celebrities, and also organizes for them special events and worked on various movies sets. Also Chef Ravid is giving his expertise to restaurants and catering companies and helps to build new culinary businesses. He is the food critic on WWW.MANCHIC.COM and participates in reality shows.
